Drs A.W. Prins (1957) studied Philosophy at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and the University of Amsterdam. He graduated in 1985 with his Masterthesis The Anatomy of Boredom. Since 1985 he teaches Phenomenology, Hermeneutics and Philosophy of Art at the Erasmus University. Since 1999 he is Dean of Education at the Department of Philosophy.
